Introduction

This is the thirtyth year in which the Festival Internacional de Música de Cantonigròs opens its doors to all those who show by their enthusiasm their wish to foster the development of culture and brotherhood among the people or our country in this marvellous reality which is this Cantonigròs Festival.
Within our possibilities, we shall be arranging that all the groups from outside Catalunya, should be able to share in the life of our village, living together in our homes and taking part in the activities and way of life. In this  way communication between us will have become an effective strengthened reality.
We would very much like to be able to invite all the groups who would like to come but the problem of accomodation will mean a restricted number of participants.
The history of the Festival is especially enclosed in a great number of families from Cantonigròs, Osona, La Garrotxa, El Bages and La Selva districts, who open their doors and shelter the participants, which every year increase in number.
We are quite sure that all who have already visited us and taken part in our Festival will have happy memories, just as they will always remain with us the image that each has left with us of their respective culture.

Kind of Festival
